Fashion Designer Stella Jean

My jaw dropped when I came across the 2012 Stella Jean Collection. The Haitian-Italian designer flawlessly combined elements from both cultures to create an eclectic line up, full of classically tailored pieces.  The collection celebrates traditional African attire while providing an unexpected cosmopolitan twist.

Now if all of these pieces could just magically appear in my closet wouldn’t that be a treat!

Stella Jean looking absolutely divine in one of her own pieces.

Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, she introduces her swimwear collection, that is just as riveting as her clothing collection.

I can’t wait to see what  Stella has in store for us in 2013. For more images from this collection, visit my “Where is the love button” board on Pinterest by clicking here.

Fashion Inspiration: Gwen Stefani

In honor of No Doubt’s highly anticipated reunion, I thought I’d pay tribute to one of my absolute favorite fashionistas, Gwen Stefani. Her style is the perfect melange of sophistication and spunk that I just can’t get enough of.

Here are a few of, what I believe to be, her greatest looks.

She donned this Stella McCartney number to the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

Gwen’s fashion line L.A.M.B. isn’t to shabby either. The street-chic fashion empire has evolved from t-shirts and sweats to a full fledged line, complete with a variety of clothing pieces, shoes, and handbags.
